Thomas Vengal is a product leader with over 20 years of experience building and scaling platforms in AI, Cloud, and Data across global enterprises. He is currently the Head of Product Management at Tata Communications, driving strategy and growth for the Vayu Cloud and AI Cloud portfolio.


Previously, Thomas held leadership roles at Walmart, Oracle, Informatica, and Hewlett-Packard, where he launched and scaled category-defining products. At Walmart, he led the Element ML & GenAI platform, expanding it to 600+ use cases and delivering significant business impact. Over his career, he has enabled global product-led growth, driving $100M+ in ARR through customer-centric innovation.

An early pioneer of India’s GCC ecosystem, Thomas has transformed GCCs into global innovation hubs, wearing multiple hats as a developer, manager, program manager, and product leader. A frequent speaker at AI and Cloud conferences, he combines deep technical expertise with business acumen to create platforms that deliver scalable impact and lasting adoption.
