This talk will focus on the approach to build products that start from the customer, work through their requirements and ultimately move metrics that directly impact customer delight. Putting this idea into practice requires starting with the customer, thinking big, and focusing on the riskiest assumption upfront. Working backwards from the customer, rather than starting with an idea for a product and trying to bolt customers onto it. While this approach can be applied to any specific product decision, using this approach is especially important when developing new products or features.
Isha is a seasoned product leader with experience in building & growing products and leading high performing teams. Her stint in product management has been pretty action packed. Most recently, Isha was with Ola where she built two new product lines - Ola Cars and Ola Electric, hitting a million DAUs within a month. Before Ola, she had dipped her toes in the digital advertising space by launching new display ad products for Amazon. Previous to that, she led new product initiatives for AWS in the US. Her very first cloud computing product was showcased to more than 250,000 attendees at Amazon's annual conference 'Re:invent' in Las Vegas. Outside of big tech, Isha has also built and launched products in fast-paced startups. In the past, she has launched EV charging products for EVGo, the largest public fast charging network in the US and led the CX vertical at OYO where she built several 0 to 1 products. Before her product management life, Isha used to work on oil rigs in Siberia and Middle East as a field engineer, so she knows how engineers truly feel about product managers. Isha is a BITS Pilani and UCLA Anderson alumnus.
