How to Craft Compelling Product Narratives?

Crafting a compelling product narrative involves developing engaging stories that highlight the product's journey, its impact, and its unique selling propositions. This narrative should align with the company’s vision and values, demonstrating how the product fits into the broader company goals and contributes to a larger purpose. Effective storytelling techniques, such as using vivid imagery, metaphors, and real-life examples, can make the narrative memorable and impactful. When pitching and presenting, it's crucial to engage the audience emotionally, address their challenges and aspirations, and use visuals and demonstrations to enhance the story. By integrating these elements, a well-crafted product narrative can captivate the audience, convey the product’s value, and reinforce the company's identity.

Sandilya holds a B.E. (Hons.) in EEE from BITS Pilani and a PGDM from IIM Mumbai (formerly NITIE). He started his career as a Software Engineer before pursuing an MBA, which led him into analytics at ITC's foods division and then Dell. At Flipkart, he established the Supply Chain Analytics team and later transitioned into Product Management, where he spent four years developing fulfillment products. Currently, Sandilya heads the Product and Design teams at Yulu Bikes, a micro-mobility company focused on sustainable urban transport solutions. He is passionate about innovation and new technologies. In his personal time, he enjoys playing badminton and tennis and spending time with his 10-year-old daughter.
